Fixed AT-AT projectile clipping

Post by **Duo** » Thu Sep 24, 2015 11:44 am

It might be possible to make a serverside BSP mod to fix the shitty AT-AT projectile clipping on Hoth.

This would only affect weapons. Players would clip the same as basejka. Getting blocked by the AT-AT, jumping onto it, rolling off it, etc, would remain exactly the same.

The only difference: weapons would clip properly. No more missed snipes because you hit an invisible wall. No more golans bouncing off invisible walls when you were trying to shoot the walker.

Woah. Sounds interesting!

Won't that affect golaning the walker? (Stray balls through the legs) and possibly demping (on the off chance you fire through the feet - even though you should be shooting at the ground anyway)

Walker = AT-ST
Duo meant the big AT-AT head model, which is very annoying when sniping. (Or if I am mistaken, then duo made a mistake and meant AT-ST)

Oh. I'm bad. I need to refresh myself on my Star Wars terms. Move along.
