Memphis in May / Beale Street Music Festival

Post by Max Rambone »

I'm usually a stay-at-home, wait-for-it-on-DVD kinda guy, but I just love going to this as much as I can.

If you have the ability to go, I would do so if you really like more music than you can probably handle.

I mean...check out this lineup:

http://www.memphisinmay.org/lineup

Got to see James Brown here just before he passed...dude could really put on a fucking show.

Definitely gonna be catching the Stone Temple Pilots * Godsmack * The Flaming Lips * Cee Lo Green * Buckcherry * Jerry Lee Lewis * Sublime with Rome * Cake * Ludacris * Ziggy Marley * Macy Gray * Everclear * Saving Abel....

Fucking CAKE is one hell of a live band.....I mean I REALLY like them, but not just crazynuts about them, but I've seen other bands like Aerosmilth, Metallica, etc...and they disappointed me live. Cake rocks the house live....and they are pretty fucking hilarious.

LUDA!!!! I'm at the top of mah game!!!!

Finally get to hear SUBLIME live....albeit without Bradly (RIP) :/

You have got to be kidding me.

You just confirmed your homosexuality right there. :)

Sounds awesome, but I seriously doubt I'd be able to make it down there from CT with classes and all.
