You don't need to enjoy someones music (or any art, for the record) to appreciate them as people.
I'm with Magyk on this one. Can't stand her music, but the woman is successful for a reason. More so than some other people who are successful.
I cant believe.......

Rofl....Bob Dylan/Marley....
Console...if you like Marley/Reggae/Zep/Grateful Dead/Punk/Ska/Hendrix/Floyd/Blues(Little HIPHOP tip for the Gs, too)....listen to SUBLIME.
Yeah, I said it....SUBLIME OR DIE MOFOS!!!!
Sublime is such a perfect mix of all of those.
Heh...while posting this I did a quick google and found some interesting stuff....lol..
First of all....a great list of Sublime covers...Brad LOVED to play songs that he loved:
http://www.coversproject.com/artist/sublime/
I was probably gonna bore most of you with TLDR, so I'll keep the youtube vids to a min and let you dudes look for them if you want.
Covers include:
Slightly Stoopid -- Ain't No Prophet (You should look for both versions.)
Many of you probably have never heard of this band...but they rock...They even have a song called 'reborn boss' (It's kinda silly, but it's cool)
Descendents
Mudhoney
The Vandals
Dee Dee Warwick -- "Foolish Fool" (Dee Dee is the sister of Dionne and cousin of Whitney Houston)
Grateful Dead -- "Scarlet Begonias"
Peter Tosh (Technically, Bob Marley) -- "Steppin' Razor"
Bob Marley (Several of them)
Bad Religion
Bad Brains
The list also includes Sublime songs that have been covered...
No Doubt (Gwen Stefani)
Jack Johnson
Reel Big Fish
The two I found most interesting were....
Didn't know Bret did a cover of this song...and I like Bret....just not sure about this cover.
AAAANND...rofl...
I had never heard of this Richard Cheese dude before, but this is slightly entertaining on a "Weird Al" tip:
Look for your favorite song by this dude if you've never heard of him before...lol
I saw...."My Neck, My Back"..."ICE, ICE, BABY"....."Baby Got Back"...just to name a few.
It's worth the chuckle...heh.

p.s. - I don't hate Gaga
p.p.s. - Don't start a music thread thinkin' I won't mention Sublime.
p.p.p.s. - Classical music rocks.
