This isn't proving it by doing this but, i switched my anti off and loaded jka then quit it that basic thing gave me a confiker virus, don't know what it is then you should be quiet.

An isolated incidence with no proof that it actually happened is pretty shoddy evidence.

I'm not going to get into a heated debate over computer security. All I'm going to say is that it's fairly easy to avoid getting viruses, all you have to do is browse intelligently. I haven't had a single virus infect one of my computers in the past 7 years.

Yeah, sorry lauren, the only other way you could have gotten a virus while doing nothing other than installing JKA is if someone else on your home network decided to plant one in there and you have file sharing on/lenient security as far as access to your computer goes or something.

I've taken an grad course in client-side scripting and my ethical hacking course is next semester. So I will be able to 100% confirm thats the only way you could have gotten on by doing nothing in a few months.

u can get a virus by pendrive by using it on foreign comps, like cafes, universities etc...

If you think so, tbh i'd rather not take the risk i have too much too lose on my PC so >:
