The fact that he picked Illusion and Xeon (who?) over me because he doesn't like me is hilarious.
Illusion actually played well, props to him. Xeon had like 2 points at the end of 18 minutes.
Ceasar went first on your team. I like ceaser. Hell, I like all of them really. But even you admitted to me IG you wouldn't have made that pick. I like all these guys, I think they're great and I think they're learning.
I'm no tensor, but I can drive the ATST and not fuck anything up. I can jan decently, I'm good for a solid 1.5-2kpm on defense or offense. I'm a trustworthy middle pick. They aren't even close at this point in their pug careers.



Maybe we should just give Ricky his own term.

The thing about you, Magyk, is while you know the workings of the game decently, you aren't consistent. Every now and then, you get a decent amount of frags, but it seems that often you get almost none. And let's be honest, unless you're a jan on defense, frags on D are usually a good measure of usefulness.

I'm not consistent, some nights (actually, I did this today) I go on a beast mode rampage and get 3+ kpm throughout the entire round, and sometimes I get closer to or less than 1kpm. But I honestly think I'm always a safe bet to go 1.5kpm-2kpm every round. I think the server tracker (if you average all my aliases, I did this like a month or so ago actually) has be around around 1.80 or something like that.

A solid 1.80 with the potential to get on a hot streak and kill a lot of dudes, and that also knows the workings of the game "decently" is vastly superior to some guy who just hopped on off of Tempest and might not even know how to SK properly.

As I've been saying for the last week though, I'll be getting vent soon. Maybe that's what I need to jump the hurdle into the next tier of siege skill.

Edit: If you average all my usual aliases (ie: not counting ones like MagykAFKPickable or magyk@BRBpickable) my score/minute comes out to 1.91 on the Impulse server tracker. (Xeon, though a small sample size is a whopping .76, Piston is 1.22 (though I would contend it seems that he's better than that usually?) Ceasar is at 1.47 - I couldn't find illusion, because idk how he spells his damn name.

but yeah. I'm sticking to my guns that I easily should have been picked over any of them (except Piston maybe, who I actually think is pretty good) and that Ricky was clearly just making Rage/doesn'tknowplayers picks. That's the point I was trying to make. Honestly, rage picks should be a kick/repugable offense and dudes who don't know more than 2 other players in the server shouldn't capt.
