yep it's pretty easy. I just tell people that I'm too scared to get bant so I don't pug when called 2 pug and I go play mass effect instead.

Re: Server Decisions
btw I have a new rule: I will go spec at the first lift lame incident in the pug. Already implemented for the first time this evening
though the pug had Kera in it so that's no surprise.
That is all!
That is all!

Re: Server Decisions
Can never tell if you're serious or not, trk, but if you are in this case I assume you realize that you're not exactly helping things, yes? It makes me not want to pug when you're around, tbh. (Not that my not pugging is a huge loss, but I don't like feeling that way... I've had some nice pugs with you.)

Re: Server Decisions
Well no one wants to make a lift lame rule, so I have to say I'm seriously tempted to start taking matters into my own hands. The lift had gone up for some other reason that I'll excuse, and then Kera deliberately brought up the lift AGAIN before it could even get down again, when my whole team was alive and waiting at the bottom. There wasn't a shield up either.j3rk wrote:Can never tell if you're serious or not, trk, but if you are in this case I assume you realize that you're not exactly helping things, yes? Now if that doesn't trip your bullshit alarm then I don't know what to tell you. And if Guard is going to take this drastic an action over people genuinely having to leave the pug, then I guess that this is the only way to get him to do something about liftlame. If not, I can still say I'm justified in leaving a pug where people don't feel like following the rules.

Re: Server Decisions
Well Turkey you can keep getting banned then every time you don't finish the pug
I don't see why I need to explain this one to you again, but here goes one more try:
1. 90% of the time by 90% of siegers, lift lame is not intentional. And yes I realized this was the case for pug leaving, which is why I made the rule only apply to you and duo, who seem to be the only ones who pug leave consistently and intentionally.
2. You have a really extreme definition of lift lame (you think it is anytime a lift is up when an attacker gets there, majority of the population considers it to be more discretionary, generally when majority of the server judges that a defender intentionally calls the lift up as enemies approach to be a last ditch effort guaranteeing a hold).
3. Keeping someone out of the server because of lift lame hurts the pug even more, since now the teams are uneven. Compare this to my new rule on pug leaving, since the pug is already ruined by the leaver, there is not more damage done to the current pug by keeping the player out of the server. The goal is to minimize the damage done to pugs. That doesn't mean blatant lift lamers won't be kicked. Call a vote kick if someone is blatantly lift laming and he can then be kicked. Repeat offenders will be handled by the admin available.

Re: Server Decisions
Turk's definition of lift lame is overly extreme.
He get's a thumbs up for the bullshit alarm comment though.

Re: Server Decisions
Most of you take so much energy in fighting over such pointless arguments i wonder...
Why you don't realize that you do not benefit from flaming, pugkilling etc.
"Hate is like grasping onto a hot coal with the intetion of throwing it at someone, you're the one who gets hurt"
Why turn on a game with the intention of shutting it down? I'm shure imagining a reaction of some players ingame getting mad at you because which may not even be present is hardly tempting even for someone who enjoys aggravating others.
