Vote and discuss...

How many slots we need?

There were 17 dudes on Impulse tonight and that's the most I've seen in a bit.

we already have like 3 vent servers that we yews but teamspeak is better.

Also, last night was a beast, shame we only really do 5s, we need a euro server for when this (great) shit happens.

Everyone should really join in on vent, even if they haven't got a mic or are too shy to talk, it really is an advantage, and you miss out on a lot of banter!

I also keep running into this 'Mohawk' stuff...

Anyone ever tried this software?

It's supposed to take like 50-75% less resources than the others and it's hosted for about half the price.

http://www.mohawkvoice.com/downloads.html

Get it and try out the test server they offer there on the download page....I'm gonna right now.

Also...Anyone ever used Mumble?

Teamspeak isn't better, the quality on Ventrilo is much clearer... and TS doesn't have the kinds of per-user options that Vent has anyway (ie turning volume up and down, etc)

But yea, there's plenty of vent servers out there... one of them that jawa found is empty like all the time. The only reason for getting our own vent would be if there's non-jkaers constantly interrupting/harassing us.
