Memphis in May...Beale St. Music Fest

[Max Rambone]

http://www.memphisinmay.org/music-lineup

I hope that Slightly Stoopid and Sublime w/ Rome sign up again.

Chew seems to be going (Why not...he lives there-ish)...been trying to get Pizzaman worked up about it.

I know that meeting dudes from the intronet could be risky or whatever, but this is a gigantic musicfest dudes...

Would be down with hanging out/getting sloshed/jammin' out with anybody who could make it. (Kinda looking@Guard.)

Anybody who wants to be on the Mighty Miss in early May should start making plans.

(Only thing that sucks is the weather in Memphis can be pretty shitty in early May.)

Again, looks interesting, but again, I won't be able to make it. Maybe next year depending on where grad school takes me.

[Kerafym]

come pick me up and take me there archi we'll have a grand old time it'll be great.

[Magyk]

Wiz Khalifa, Evanescence, Primus, Pitbull, Lupe Fiasco, The Cult, Coheed & Cambria, Three 6 Mafia, Jerry Lee Lewis, Breathe Carolina, T Model Ford, Wolfman Belfour, Alison Krauss.

Everyone else is meh. (^That's still quite a lineup though.)

Evanescence put out one of my all-time favorite live albums (normally I hate live albums) so I bet they're pretty decent live. I've heard Alison Krauss is always good live too. It's too bad they couldn't get Robert Plant to do some stuff off this album: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raising_Sand

On a related note: I know someone that saw Wiz Khalifa live at their university, and they said he was absolutely terrible.

[CHEW]

Memphis is MUD!!!

[GUARD!AN]

Man, that lineup actually isn't bad. I think Coachella over on the west coast is pretty overrated, but Memphis in May sounds awesome. I'll be in Los Angeles this May, but next year I'll seriously consider coming back over to the east coast for this
