If I'm not mistaken, this song was written after your neighbours to the north singed your boss-man's home. That's what you get for trying to invade us!

Actually the White house wasn't really burned down by Canadians, we invaded (at the time) the English capital that was in Canada, and the big bad Brit's came from over seas to get us, no canucks :P

@Guard! Dood, I was probably inside my igloo, shivering.

York/Toronto is my home town. AND IT WOULD HAVE BEEN NATIONAL CAPITAL IF IT WASN'T SO CLOSE TO THE USA! It's all your fault...

ps. bet you also didn't know that the one building the brits left standing was that of the U.S. Marines, since they fought so VALIANTLY (omfg), it was a British sign of respect for their valor. I don't remember the details, but I think the anecdote pertained to the buildings in D.C. Not gonna google this one :P
