Anyone else play? Once my legit copy comes, I plan on 'seigekilling' and play it online.

I have a... copy. I enjoyed the single player thoroughly, never tried the MP. Shame there wasn't a sequel.

I haven't played MP much, because of my copy not allowing me on much. But MP totally rocked IMO. Kind of like JA FFA/TFFA/CTF minus the sabers and force, and with guns that did much more realistic damage (after you broke through and opponent's shielding).

That game was pretty awful, IMO.

I'm telling you dudes who really love siege....ETQW is awesome.

You won't think so at first....I was skeptical.

But after playing a few maps with Pizza guiding me through stuff, I realized that it was possibly a better game than j k a s i e g e, even.

I mean it's pretty much impossible to lame anything....

Objectives can't be rushed in the way they can in JA....

There's really too much to even list....get the demo, at least and give a try with me.

I don't really think that's a particularly astounding accomplishment.

Siege (in which I include QW) is amazinsauce! No trolls allowed, only winnerz. It's really a formula that has not been successfully recreated, otherwise we'd have moved on I'm sure.

P.S. Sorry Mike, didn't mean to threadjack, but I did. :-( I don't have RepCom but I plan to pick it up on the next firesale@Steam.

P.P.S. Portal2 is awesome.

Because the JK series was like one of the first series I ever played (starting with the original DF) and I enjoy JKA Siege. I don't think one awesome gametype, a few other generic ones that have been 100 times over, a subpar single player campaign (compared to the rest of the DF/JK entries) and 2003 mechanics/graphics makes it that good of a game. Plus I like online games more for the community/people aspect.

I put a lot, a lot more weight in single player gameplay than multiplayer gameplay when I'm judging a game. I guess I'm old school cause I grew up with point&click adventure games, and console games that weren't online.

So did everyone here, if fact some of the older ones grew up with pinball machines and space invader slot machines.

I grew up partially with a stick to get my fighting kicks. Only got a computer in the family I could game one when I was around 8-ish, simply because it was part of my dad's business. Before then, it ran on windows 3.1, which didn't support too much.

TBH: I still get kicks swinging sticks around =p
