im on fatman as sith
pvp in the game is shit, absolute shit. there's a ton of errors with clients being asynchronous so position based abilities just flat out dont work more than half the time. ones that rely HEAVILY upon position work properly less than 1 out of 10 times for me, personally, but most of my friends have a success rate of 30%.

Does everyone tend to play PVP or something? I feel like I'd be more comfortable with PVE, since I won't be on much... Anyone on a PVE server?

Re: Star Wars: The Old Republic awesomeness
you can pve on a pvp server. pvp server just means you can freely attack other players from the enemy faction when you see them.
the way levelling is set up you only run into enemy players on 2-3 different spots while levelling. really not big deal.

Is anyone here on the Republic side? Seems like everyone's gone Imperial, just wondering.

Re: Star Wars: The Old Republic awesomeness
I picked the side where I don't pay an extra $180 for a game I already payed $50 to buy.
In all seriousness though, how is this? I'm considering getting it, but I'd want to get the 6month block (to get the discount) and I'm not sure if it's worth dropping $125 on to play for 6 months.

And honestly I'm not a huge fan of pay to play either, but I figured I'd give this a try and see what the rave is all about... (or not)

Re: Star Wars: The Old Republic awesomeness
6 month package is like 75 bucks, plus the 50 FOR the game = 125.Turky wrote:15 x 6 = 90Magyk wrote:I picked the side where I don't pay an extra $180 for a game I already payed $50 to buy.
